Northern peru special adventure

The Northern Peru Special Adventure is a full-on pre-inca cultural experience. We start by visiting some of the attractions of Chiclayo. Then we head to Chachapoyas, land of the Warriors of the Clouds, and start our days of altitude acclimatization, visiting Gocta Waterfall and Kuelap. Afterwards we head south to Leymebamba and start our seven day trek to the remote and magical Chachapoya remains of Vira Vira. We end the tour in Cajamarca with a half day tour of the city and stay in the Laguna Seca hotel which has thermal water flowing in every room.

  Day 1 Full day in Chiclayo.  Ventarron, Royal Tombs Museum and Tucume.  Night in Chiclayo.
  
  Day 2 Drive to Chachapoyas.  Night in La Xalca Hotel.
  
  Day 3  Gocta Waterfall. Night in Chachapoyas.
  
  Day 4 Kuelap and on to Leymebamba. Night in La Casona de Leymebamba.  
  
  Day 5 Trek to Tajopampa.  Camping.
  
  Day 6 Trek: La Petaca, Diablo Huasi, Boveda.  Camping.
  
  Day 7 Trek: Timbambo/Papamarca Atuen.  Camping.
  
  Day 8 Trek: Ina trail over Ullila Pass. Camping.
  
  Day 9 Trek: To Huayabamba Camp.
  
  Day 10 Hike to Vira Vira.  Night at Huayabamba Camp.
  
  Day 11 Trek to Uchucmarca.  Camping.
  
  Day 12 Drive to Cajamarca.  Night at Laguna Seca
  
  Day 13  Half day tour in Cajamarca. R&R at hotel.
